The Institute for Local Government [ILG] states, “ILG is the research and education affiliate of the California State Association of Counties and the League of California Cities.” Their motto is “Promoting Good Government at the Local Level.

I clicked to read:  “What Do You Think Promotes Public Service Ethics?

ILG, in its efforts to promote good government at the local level with practical, easy-to-use and impartial resources, is currently reviewing the future and focus of its Public Confidence program. Here you will find a summary of the resources ILG provides to help local officials sift through the ethical and legal issues of public service ethics. We would also like to hear from you on what promotes public service ethics.

I , also, linked to City Ethics.org [see, Model Ethics Code] whose goal is “making local government more ethical”. A banner on the site proclaims “This website is an international project designed to exchange best practices in government ethics programs.
