The Institute for Local Government [ILG] states, “ILG is the research and education affiliate of the California State Association of Counties and the League of California Cities.” Their motto is “Promoting Good Government at the Local Level.”

I , also, linked to City Ethics.org [see, Model Ethics Code] whose goal is “making local government more ethical”. A banner on the site proclaims “This website is an international project designed to exchange best practices in government ethics programs.”
